Preparation time: 45 minutes + 3-4 hours in the fridge

Sponge:

  • 300 g flour, a pinch of salt, 3/4 teaspoon of yeast, 1 teaspoon of oil

I mixed the flour with the salt. Separately, I mixed 200 ml of warm water with yeast and oil and then I poured the mix over the flour. I kneaded about 2-3 minutes and allowed to rest for 15 minutes. The mixture is then kneaded for 3 minutes until the dough becomes smooth. Divide into two equal pieces, then form two balls which are set to resting on a wooden board dusted with flour and let rise for 3 to 4 hours at room temperature or overnight in the refrigerator.

Ingredients:

  • Tomato sauce, pizza cheese from Transylvania Lactate, jamón serrano, basil.

Handle with care, because, if you leave the dough in the refrigerator, you will have to return to room temperature. Heat the oven to maximum temperature. Spread dough into the desired shape, pour over it tomato sauce and leave for 10 minutes in the oven. Remove the tray from the oven, place over the tomato sauce the pizza cheese, jamon serrano and basil, and leave it in the oven another 5-7 minutes, until the cheese melts.
